Had some amp work done some time ago on a Fender Pro Reverb -- great job!! Also had some work needed on an old Peavey. He was honest and up front. Dude saved me hundreds of dollars on repairs that weren't worth it and which another vendor was going to screw me for. He is meticulous and knowledgeable. This business won't steer you wrong. Support Gary. So glad I stopped in to see him.

Simply the best- honest, authentic and expert. I have bought a new guitar from Gary and had my old guitars "tunes" up by him. He knows his stuff and is absolutely the go to guy in this area if you are just starting to think about buying a guitar or you are an old player like me..

I've purchased 3 guitars from this man already and refuse to go anywhere else for repairs. The owner really knows what he's talking about and doesn't have an attitude or ego if you ask him like some of those younger kids at bigger corporate places. I often just stop by to chat with him, very warm, welcoming and knowledgable. All of the guitars I purchased have since tripled in price and I got them for 1/8 or 1/16 of the price they were sold for at GC or online!

It's really only one guy who owns the place, owns it, and does all restorations. It's obvious just from simple conversation with him that he loves his job. You can visit the store just planning to window shop and end up staying for an hour long jam session. The prices are cheap and he knows what he's talking about. This man's life has been music
Re: Gilmour Signature Strat Build Thread
“ Wish I saw this thread sooner. Dali, I'm from CT as well. I know a great luthier in Oakville/Watertown area if you run into any snags or ever want something done. Springmeyer's Vintage Restoration.

Knowledgable, great service I stumbled on his shop when getting a vacuum repaired nearby. I own 6 guitars, all more than 25 years old. I have had 4 of my guitars serviced there and he does a great job and at reasonable prices. I feel much more comfortable bringing things to his shop rather than a big music store. He really knows a lot about older Japanese guitars which most of mine are. A+

Best of the Best -Springmeyer (Luthier) Restorations The best of the best always has people hanging around their shop for company, talk and picking. Springmeyer is such a shop. His work is impeccable, He is honest and gives very exacting work for a fair price. You will not be sorry using him. And he is a nice guy to boot. What more can I say? He is always done right by me. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone.

knowledgeable and respectable I bring in rare and off guitars to get setup's and also to get information on the guitars. He knows his vintage stuff, even if it was made in japan or some other country. Its nice to have a local guru around who can answer questions and point you in the right direction in terms of tone.
